《GB/T 4759-2009内燃机排气消声器 测量方法》由TC177（全国内燃机标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准规定了内燃机排气消声器(以下简称消声器)的声学性能和气动(气体动力性)性能的测量方法。同时给出了对测量仪器、测量条件和测量位置的要求,以及排气噪声表面声压级和声功率级的计算方法。本标准工程法可用于验收试验。
本标准声学测量旨在获得2级准确度等级(工程法)的测量结果。如背景噪声修正值大于1.3dB但小于或等于3dB,和/或环境条件不能满足本标准工程法要求时,则获得3级准确度等级(简易法)的测量结果。
本标准适用于GB/T6072.1使用范围的中、小功率内燃机消声器的试验,尚无合适国家标准可以使用的其他用途消声器(包括进气消声器)亦可参照使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods for the acoustic performance and aerodynamic (gas dynamic) performance of exhaust mufflers for internal combustion engines. At the same time, the requirements for measuring instruments, measuring conditions and measuring positions, and the calculation methods of exhaust noise surface sound pressure level and sound power level are given. This standard engineering method can be used for acceptance testing. This standard is applicable to the test of mufflers for medium and small power internal combustion engines within the application scope of GB/T 6072.1, and mufflers for other purposes (including intake mufflers) that do not have a suitable national standard can also be used as a reference.
