《GB/T 5202-2008辐射防护仪器 α、β和α/β(β能量大于60keV)污染测量仪与监测仪》由TC30(全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会)归口,TC30SC3(全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会辐射防护仪器分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
a) 标准名称改为《辐射防护仪器 α、β和α/β(β能量大于60keV)污染测量仪与监测仪》;
b) 增加了“仪器分类”一章;
1 Scope
This standard is applicable to directly measure or directly detect surface contamination meters and monitors for emitting α and/or β nuclide, at least including:
——Detection assembly (including counting tube, scintillation detector or semiconductor detector), which may be of fixed connection or flexible cable connection or compose one separate device;
——Measurement assembly.
Some meters and monitors are composed of detection assembly and measurement assembly, and the detection assembly may be separately used when the detection assembly can be separated with instrument. In order to meet this standard, all instruments including detection assembly and measurement assembly shall meet the requirements of this standard, or the detection assembly and measurement assembly shall respectively meet the requirements of relevant parts of this standard.
Note: If a kind of application mode meets the requirements of this standard through certification after correspondence, the combination assembly of other special instruments can not be deduced meeting the standard. For the latter application mode, the assembly produced by different manufacturers may be allowed for combination assembly by the user.
This standard is applicable to:
——Alpha surface contamination meter;
——Alpha surface contamination monitor;
——Beta surface contamination meters
——Beta surface contamination monitor
——Alpha/beta surface contamination meter;
——Alpha/beta surface contamination monitor;
The latter two equipments are able to simultaneously determine alpha and beta contamination and respectively display measuring result:
——Alpha (beta, alpha/beta) surface contamination meter: including one or more radiation detectors and relevant assembly or basic function unit. When checking surface contamination, it is used for measuring alpha (beta, alpha/beta) surface emission rate;
——Alpha (beta, alpha/beta) surface contamination monitor.
This standard is also applicable to those instruments for special purposes and instruments designed for measuring special property surface. But some requirements of the standard are required to be modified or supplemented according to the special requirements of these instruments.
If one instrument is able to realize diversified functions, the instrument is required to meet all requirements of these different functions. If the instrument has one major function and is accompanied with other functions, the instrument is required to meet all requirements of major function and meet the requirements of other functions as much as possible.
This standard is not applicable to radiation monitor or meter for measuring or detecting beta particle with maximum energy less than 60keV.
This standard is aimed to specify standard requirements and provide some examples of applicable methods, and also specify general characteristic, general test condition and method, radiation characteristic, electric safety, environment characteristic and quality certificate of alpha, beta and alpha/beta contamination meters and monitors.
