《GB/T 521-2012轮胎外缘尺寸测量方法》由TC19（全国轮胎轮辋标准化技术委员会）归口，TC19SC1（全国轮胎轮辋标准化技术委员会汽车工农业机械轮胎轮辋分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。

1. Scope

This Standard specifies the measuring tools and their accuracy requirements, measurement conditions, measuring methods, data calculation and processing and test report of overall circumference of tyre (cover tyre, inner tube and flap).
This Standard is applicable to all new passenger car tyres, truck tires, agricultural tyres, earth-mover tyres, industrial vehicle pneumatic tyres and motorcycle tyres.
