《GB/T 5400-1998纸浆铜价的测定》由TC141（全国造纸工业标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准规定了铜价的测定方法。本标准适用于漂白化学浆与溶解浆，不适用于机械浆或未漂浆。

Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of copper price. This standard applies to bleached chemical pulp and dissolving pulp, not to mechanical pulp or unbleached pulp. NOTE: The copper value determines the ability of hydrolyzed or oxidized cellulose to reduce certain metal ions to their low-valence state. At the same time, this type of reaction can be used to check the degree of degradation of cellulose, the degree of deterioration and to estimate the amount of reducing groups. In fact, the copper price can be regarded as an indicator of certain reducing substances in pulp (eg, oxidized cellulose, hydrolyzed cellulose, lignin and sugar, etc.).
