《GB/T 5495-2008粮油检验 稻谷出糙率检验》由TC270（全国粮油标准化技术委员会）归口，TC270SC1（全国粮油标准化技术委员会原粮及制品分会）执行，主管部门为国家粮食和物资储备局。
本标准代替GB/T 5495-1985 《粮食、油料检验　稻谷出糙率检验法》。
本标准规定了稻谷出糙率的术语和定义、原理、仪器和用具、扦样、样品制备、操作步骤和结果计算。
本标准适用于商品稻谷的出糙率测定。
本标准与GB/T 5495-1985 相比主要差异如下：
―――将标准名称更改为《粮油检验　稻谷出糙率检验》；
―――增加了规范性引用文件、术语和定义、原理；
―――对净稻谷、出糙率进行了定义；
―――将净稻谷试样量由原来的20g改为20g~25g。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instruments and utensils, sampling, sample preparation, operation steps and result calculation of rice roughness rate. This standard applies to the determination of the roughness rate of commercial rice.
