Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
GB/T 5601-2018 integrates the TB/T1803-2007 tank truck water pressure test standard and the special technical contents of insulated trucks such as TB/T1886 and TB/T1537 to form a more systematic truck inspection system. Compared with the 2006 version, the main technical changes include:

Core inspection items and requirements
1. Routine inspection specifications
Mass-produced trucks must be inspected for the items marked "R" in Table 1 one by one, including:
- Appearance inspection: paint film thickness ≥60μm, fastener anti-loosening marks intact
- Structural inspection: limit dimensions comply with GB/T16904.1, deadweight error ≤0.5%
- Performance inspection: brake device single vehicle test leakage ≤10kPa/min

Key points of special testing technology
1. Air tightness test of insulated truck
When using the constant pressure method (arbitration method), the pressure difference must be maintained at 49.03Pa±4.90Pa. The leakage calculation formula is:
Ψ = V/[F×(5.6-0.32×Δp/9.81)×10³×(Δp/9.81)^(2/3)]
Wherein, V is the average air leakage (m³/h), and F is the geometric area of the insulation wall (m²)
2. Tank truck water pressure test
- Test pressure: 0.4MPa for light oil/viscous oil tank, 0.52MPa for bulk cement tank
- Pressure maintenance requirements: ≥5min no leakage, hammer check weld no deformation
- Water quality specifications: Chloride ion content of stainless steel tank truck ≤25mg/L
Implementation suggestions and precautions
- Testing cycle management: Type testing should be completed before design finalization, and random inspection shall be carried out at a rate of 1% during mass production
- Equipment selection: Pressure gauge accuracy ≥1.6, temperature measurement error ≤0.5℃
- Data recording: The insulation test of the insulated vehicle shall be recorded continuously for more than 4 hours, and the data group shall be ≥8 groups
- Special vehicle models: Long and large cargo vehicles shall be subject to additional verification of the minimum curve radius
