《GB/T 5657-1995离心泵技术条件（Ⅲ类）》由TC211（全国泵标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准规定了离心泵的设计制造、工厂检查和试验以及发运方面的Ⅲ类要求。并包含了与泵（包括底座、联轴器和辅助管路，如果驱动机不是与泵构成一个整体，此驱动机除外）的安装、维护和安全有关的设计特性。
本标准适用于一般应用的具有任何驱动和安装形式的单级、多级、卧式或立式结构(联轴器联接或共轴式)离心泵。

Scope

This standard specifies the category III requirements for design, manufacture, factory inspection and testing, and delivery of centrifugal pumps. It also covers the design features related to the installation, maintenance and safety of the pump (including the base, couplings and auxiliary piping, except the driver if the driver is not integral with the pump). This standard applies to single-stage, multi-stage, horizontal or vertical construction (coupling or coaxial) centrifugal pumps of any type of drive and installation for general use.
