Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of marine disc separators (hereinafter referred to as separators). This standard applies to separators for removing moisture and mechanical impurities from mineral oils (diesel oil, heavy oil and lubricating oil).
