Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of marine flanged bronze and cast iron packing cocks (hereinafter referred to as cocks) whose flange connection dimensions are in accordance with GB 569 and GB 2501. This standard is applicable to ship piping systems whose media are seawater, fresh water, lubricating oil and fuel oil.
