Scope

This part of GB/T 6183 specifies the type, size, technical conditions and marks of hexagonal flange lock nuts with fine thread type 2 non-metallic inserts. This part applies to type 2 non-metallic insert hexagonal flange faces with nominal thread diameter D = 8 mm ~ 20 mm, fine thread, property class 6, 8 and 10, product class A and B fasten the screw nut. Grade A is used for D≤16 mm; Grade B is used for nuts with D>16 mm.
