Scope
This standard specifies non-metallic insert hexagonal flange lock nuts with thread specifications M8X1~M20X1.5, fine thread, performance grades 6, 8 and 10, and product grades A and B. Grade A is used for D≤16mm; Grade B is used for nuts with D>16mm. For the inspection of hexagon and flange, see Appendix A (standard appendix). Note: This nut is equivalent to GB/T 6177.2 plus the effective torque part. If other technical requirements are required, they should be selected from current standards (such as GB/T 196, GB/T 3098.9 and GB/T 3103.1).
