Background and Significance: GB/T6730.50-2016 is an important national standard for the determination of carbon content in iron ore, replacing the old version GB/T6730.50-1986. This standard is mainly applicable to the determination of carbon content in iron ore, iron ore concentrate, sintered ore and pelletized ore, ranging from 0.10% to 10.00% by mass, and is of great significance in the steel industry.
