Introduction
Analysis on the Evolution of Technical Specifications for Pigment Carbon Black Standards
As the fourth major revision of the pigment carbon black industry, this standard has significantly improved the control requirements for environmental health indicators: newly added total amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons ≤80mg/kg and total amount of heavy metals ≤20mg/kg environmental protection restrictions, and adopted GBT29612 for spectral monitoring of key pollutants such as lead, mercury and cadmium.

Packaging product sampling adopts A/B method in parallel: pre-type identification uses 295mm special sampling tube with air pressure trigger device, and the tube diameter tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.5mm; daily inspection can choose non-damaged spoon scheme but the sample must be kept in effective reading state.

A certain ink company in Jiangsu had a problem of excessive fluidity. It was found that the raw material oil absorption value exceeded the limit (the measured C121 reached 192×10-5m3/kg).
