《GB/T 709-2006热轧钢板和钢带的尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了热轧钢板及钢带的尺寸、外形、重量、技术条件。本标准适用于轧制宽度不小于600mm的单张轧制、钢带及其剪切钢板和纵切钢带。

1. Scope
This national standard specifies the dimension, shape, weight and tolerances for hot-rolled sheets and plates.

This national standard is applicable to the single-sheet rolled steel plate ( hereinafter referred to as "single rolled steel plate"), steel strip and its shear steel plates (hereinafter referred to as "continuously rolled steel plate") and longitudinal-cutting steel strip, whose rolling width is not less than 600mm.
