GB/T7308.2-2021 is a special standard for the measurement of thin-walled bearings of sliding bearings, which focuses on standardizing the measurement technology system of wall thickness and flange thickness. This standard establishes a complete measurement methodology for flange bearings with an outer diameter of less than 250mm and flangeless bearings with an outer diameter of less than 500mm.

Measurement method system
1. Wall thickness measurement principle
Adopt the radial vertical measurement principle and obtain the minimum wall thickness value s3 through single/double-sided contact measurement. In special cases, it is necessary to avoid interference areas such as oil holes and markings. Typical cases include:
- Diesel engine bearings need to bypass the oil tank when measuring
- High-speed rail bearings need to deal with the steel back deformation area separately

Key implementation points
- Equipment selection: Match the measuring head radius according to the requirements of Table 5 (metal lining 3±0.2mm, plastic lining 5±0.2mm)
- Load control: Maintain 0.8-2.5N measuring pressure according to GB/T27939, and take the lower limit for soft materials
- Uncertainty control:
- Do≤80mm: uε≤0.002mm
- 150-500mm: uε≤0.004mm
- Calibration cycle: It is recommended to verify the equipment every 500 measurements or 3 months
