《GB/T 7496-1987信息处理系统 数据通信 高级数据链路控制规程 帧结构》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准为采用面向比特的高级数据链路控制规程（HDLC）的数据通信系统规定了帧结构。它定义了帧的各部分的相对位置和作帧定界序列(标志)用的比特组合。它还定义了一种使帧内比特模式具有独立性的机制。此外，还规定了两种帧检验序列（FCS），定义了地址字段的扩充规则，并描述了所有的编址约定。控制字段的编码和格式在其他国家标准中定义。

Scope

This standard specifies the frame structure for data communication systems using the bit-oriented high-level data link control procedure (HDLC). It defines the relative positions of the various parts of the frame and the bit combinations used for the frame delimitation sequence (flag). It also defines a mechanism for making intra-frame bit pattern independent. In addition, two Frame Check Sequences (FCS) are specified, the rules for the expansion of the address field are defined, and the addressing conventions used are described. The encoding and format of the control fields are defined in other national standards.
