本标准规定了一个工业上广泛使用的硫化橡胶的分类和标注系统。

Scope

This International Standard specifies a system for the classification and labeling of vulcanized rubber widely used in industry. This classification system is based on the premise that the properties of all vulcanized rubbers can be organized with unique material notations. These labels are determined as follows: classification according to heat aging resistance; classification according to expansion resistance in oil; grouping according to low temperature resistance. The properties of any vulcanized rubber (hereinafter referred to as material) can be fully described by comprehensive use of categories, grades and groups, as well as basic physical properties and additional physical property values. This classification system is suitable for providing guidance for purchasers and suppliers when selecting practical commodity materials, and provides a method for marking and specifying these materials with simple specification codes. If the terms of this classification system conflict with the terms in the specific specifications for special products, the latter shall be chosen.
