《GB/T 8334-2022液化石油气钢瓶定期检验与评定》由TC31(全国气瓶标准化技术委员会)归口,TC31SC6(全国气瓶标准化技术委员会气瓶检验分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Core changes in the standard revision
| Revision dimensions | 2011 version | 2022 version |
|---|---|---|
| Inspection agency requirements | Retained | Deleted |
| Bottle valve processing | Undefined | Add requirements for removing dead valve devices |
| Airtightness standard | Leakage means failure | Clearly maintain pressure at 2.1MPa for 1 minute |
Key inspection technical points
Wall thickness measurement specifications: Select 1 point in the arc transition zone of the upper and lower heads, measure 2 points at 50mm from the circumferential weld of the cylinder, and measure 2 points at the lower head for cylinders composed of three parts. If the remaining wall thickness is less than the design value, it will be scrapped.
Typical scrapping case: An LPG station found that the YSP-35.5 type cylinder had a dent depth of 7mm (standard limit 6mm), and the wall thickness at the scratch was thinned by 12%, and it was scrapped according to clause 6.2.2.3.
Inspection process optimization suggestions
- Residual gas treatment: Steam purging (≥0.2MPa/3min) is preferred. Residual gas concentration >0.4% requires reprocessing
- Non-destructive testing: Magnetic particle testing (Grade I) or radiographic testing (Grade AB/Grade III) shall be carried out on suspicious parts of the weld according to NB/T47013 standard
- Volume determination: Medium accuracy scale (JJG539) shall be used. For water temperature correction, refer to Appendix B volume conversion table
Special tips for safety protection
- When the cylinder valve cannot open the cylinder, an explosion-proof dead valve device must be used
- Nitrogen (GB/T3864) is preferred as the airtightness test medium. The air test shall ensure that the residual gas concentration is ≤0.4%
- Scrapped cylinders should be destructively processed and permanently marked
