Scope
This part of GB/T 8804 specifies the test methods for the tensile properties of polyolefin (polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutylene) thermoplastic pipes, especially the following properties: - Tensile yield stress; - elongation at break. This section applies to polyolefin pipes for various purposes. Note 1: The performance of the welded part of the pipe can be measured by the mechanical an:I: sample introduced in this document; Note 2: For the general rules of the test method for the tensile properties of thermoplastic pipes, see GB/T 8804.1.
