Scope

This document provides general methods and procedures for the design and operation personnel of nuclear power plant safety systems and relevant management departments to analyze the reliability and availability of nuclear power plant safety systems. This document is applicable to qualitative and quantitative analysis of the reliability of nuclear power plant safety systems and is applicable to all stages of the life cycle of nuclear power plant safety systems. The qualitative and quantitative analysis principles of this document are applicable to analyzing the impact of component failures on system reliability. The general reliability and availability analysis methods of this document are applicable to structures, systems and components of nuclear power plants and other nuclear facilities.
