Introduction
Interpretation of the standards for basic environmental test conditions and methods for hydrological instruments
| Environmental category | Test items | Units | Test parameters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class A (Indoor instruments) | Temperature test | ℃ | -10~50℃ |
| Class B (Outdoor instruments) | Humidity test | % | Relative humidity≤90% |
| Class C (Underwater instruments) | Salt spray test | - | Sodium chloride solution concentration 5%±1% |
| Class D (shipborne instruments) | Immersion seal test | m | Immersion depth ≥1.0m |
| Class E (vehicle-mounted instruments) | Vibration test | m/s² | Acceleration ≤25m/s² |
Standard Development Background and Technology Evolution Analysis
Standard Revision Background: GB/T9359-2016 completely replaces the old version of the standard, mainly to supplement and improve the harsh conditions faced by hydrological instruments in different usage environments. New test items such as solar radiation and sand and dust have been added, and the requirements for salt spray and water spray tests have been further improved.
Explanation of professional terms
Basic environmental testing
Refers to simulating extreme conditions that may be encountered in different natural or use environments, such as temperature, humidity, salt spray, etc., to test the adaptability and reliability of the instrument.
Protection level (IP code)
According to the GB4208 standard, it is used to characterize the dust and water resistance of the instrument. For example, IP67 means that dust is completely prevented from entering, and there is no damage when immersed in 1 meter deep water for 30 minutes.
