Scope

This standard specifies the methods for measuring the inner diameter, outer diameter (including the outer diameter of hydraulic hose reinforcement layer), wall thickness, concentricity, inner lining layer and outer coating thickness of rubber and plastic hoses, and specifies the methods for measuring and marking rubber and plastic hoses. Methods for the length of hose and hose assemblies also specify methods for inspecting the outside diameter of hydraulic hose assemblies.
