Scope

This standard specifies the instrument requirements and measurement methods for chemical reagent molecular absorption spectrophotometry (ultraviolet and visible light parts). This standard applies to the determination of impurity content in inorganic chemical reagents and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic chemical reagents, indicators and specific reagents with wavelengths between 200 and 850 nm.
