This national standard specifies the general method to determinate the iron content with 1.10-Phenanthroline Spectrophotometric Method.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of trace iron in chemical reagent. The determination range of the spectrophotometric method is 0.08 ~ 2 μg/mL (Fe), and the determination range of the visual colorimetry is 0.04 ~ 2 μg /mL (Fe).
