Introduction
Standard Overview and Technical Background
GH/T 1297-2020 is the first supply and marketing cooperative industry standard formulated for jasmine black tea in my country, filling the gap in the standard system of scented tea. The standard is based on the dual technical framework of GB/T 13738.2 (Gongfu black tea) and GB/T 22292 (jasmine tea), integrating the practical experience of traditional scenting techniques in major production areas such as Sichuan and Fujian.

Product classification matrix
- Large-leaf varieties: Thick and tight, with strong floral fragrance (Yunnan and Guangxi production areas)
- Medium- and small-leaf varieties: Thin, tight and with visible hairs, with high freshness (Fujian and Sichuan production areas)
In the quality grade classification, special-grade tea requires a front seedling ratio of ≥80%, and the floral fragrance concentration must reach the 240% flower matching amount standard specified in Appendix A.

Implementation suggestions
- Raw material control: The tea base should comply with the special grade standard of GB/T 13738.2, and the fresh flowers should reach 90% openness
- Process optimization: Refer to Appendix A for the flower quantity table, and the large-leaf varieties should increase the flower quantity by 10%
- Warehouse management: It is recommended to use the double aluminum composite bag packaging specified in GB/T 30375, and control the humidity below 50%
Analysis of standard evolution
This standard clarifies for the first time the three major characteristics of jasmine black tea that are different from traditional jasmine tea: black tea matrix, sweet and fragrant taste, and bright red soup color. Compared with the 2015 industry pilot specification, five new testing technologies have been added, including the rapid pesticide residue test method.
