Scope
This part specifies the test principles, test equipment, specimens, test procedures and result evaluation of the mechanical method of hydrogen embrittlement test for plating processes. This section is applicable to the evaluation of the hydrogen embrittlement tendency of the plating process and the hydrogen embrittlement performance of the plated steel parts with a tensile strength greater than 1050MPa, and is used for the arbitration and appraisal of the hydrogen embrittlement tendency of the plating process and the hydrogen embrittlement performance of the plated products.
