Scope
1.2.1 This regulation applies to self-supporting vertical steel towers with skirts whose height is greater than 1Om and the ratio of height to diameter is greater than 5. 1.2.2 This provision does not apply to towers with pulling devices, non-metallic linings such as bricks and non-ferrous metal linings.
