Scope

This standard specifies the UV spectrophotometric method for the determination of butylxanthogen in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of butylxanthate in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The detection limit of this method is 0.004mg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.016mg/L.
