Scope

This standard specifies the definition of contact voltage regulator, product model, cooling method symbol, basic specifications, performance parameters, usage conditions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, etc. This standard applies to dry-type self-cooling contact voltage regulators (ring-shaped iron core) with a voltage level of 500V and below, a rated frequency of 50Hz, continuous operation, and stepless adjustment. This standard only provides requirements for the special parts of the contact voltage regulator, and the remaining parts should comply with the relevant provisions of JB 8749. For contact voltage regulators whose rated capacity or voltage specifications are not listed in this standard, you can also refer to the relevant provisions of this standard. Contact voltage regulators are mainly used in various places where the load voltage can be adjusted steplessly and smoothly.
