Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements and methods for reliability verification testing of small-capacity AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors), including reliability level requirements, test methods, test plans and test procedures for contactors. This standard applies to AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors) with AC 5OHz or 60Hz, rated operating current of the main circuit 50A and below, rated control power supply voltage from 24V to 400V, and whose life can reasonably be considered to obey the exponential distribution (hereinafter referred to as the contactor). Verification test. Reliability verification tests for contactors with main circuit rated operating currents above 50A can also be conducted with reference to this standard.
