Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes, model specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of internal combustion engine electromagnetic fan clutches. This standard applies to electromagnetic fan clutches (hereinafter referred to as fan clutches) for reciprocating internal combustion engines whose transmission torque is not greater than 200 N·m.
