This standard specifies the classification and grade of cobalt-based alloy inclusions for instrument shaft tips, method principles, sampling and surface preparation, test methods and evaluation principles. This standard is applicable to the grade assessment of non-metallic inclusions (hereinafter referred to as inclusions) in cobalt-based alloys for instrument shaft tips.
