Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of artificial mineral fibers for friction materials. This standard applies to alkali-free and medium-alkali glass fiber raw filaments, single-strand or plied glass fiber rovings and rock wool fibers for friction materials.
