Scope

This standard specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, specimens, test procedures, result calculations, allowable deviations and test reports of test methods for static resistance to glass liquid erosion of refractory materials for glass melting furnaces (hereinafter referred to as refractory materials). This method is suitable for determining the resistance of refractory materials to glass solution erosion under static and isothermal conditions.
