Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
The JG/T 535-2017 standard specifies the technical requirements for the entire life cycle from material selection to service performance for flexible photovoltaic modules such as Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) and Thin Film-Si (TF-Si). The standard highlights the building integration characteristics and systematically proposes flexible-specific test indicators such as curling performance (50 cycles) and tensile strength (elongation ≤ 0.035%) for the first time.
Comparison of key technical requirements
| Performance dimensions | Basic requirements | Enhanced requirements for construction |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical safety | Insulation resistance ≥ 400MΩ | Maintain insulation after wet leakage current test |
| Environmental tolerance | Pass thermal cycle 200 times | Additional requirements for salt spray corrosion + hail impact |
| Mechanical properties | Conventional component seismic resistance | Crimp diameter 254mm+1.5 times deadweight load |
Material and structural innovation
The standard clearly stipulates that the front barrier film must be made of multi-layer composite polymer material and the back panel must meet the insulation requirements of GB/T 31034. The typical structure includes:
- Front barrier film (transmittance ≥ 92%)
- EVA/PVB film (thickness 0.4-1.2mm)
- Thin-film battery layer (CIGS thickness 2-3μm)
- Aluminum film water barrier layer (optional)
Breakthrough in testing methods
Winder performance test
Using a 254mm diameter reel, 100 bidirectional curlings (50 times with the light-receiving side outwards + 50 times with the back side outwards) were performed under 0.1 times Imp current monitoring. Requirements after testing:
- No hidden cracks in EL test
- Power attenuation ≤10%
Salt spray corrosion test
According to GB/T 2423.18-2012 for alternating salt spray test, the severity level must meet the following:
- 35℃±2℃ salt spray spray (5%NaCl)
- 40℃/93%RH wet heat storage
Building integration implementation suggestions
Roof system installation
It is recommended to use mechanical fixation + structural adhesive double insurance method, the fixing spacing ≤500mm, please note:
- Bending radius ≥100 times the thickness of the component
- Avoid direct contact with metal substrate
Curtain wall application
It is recommended to use PVB film lamination process, which should comply with JG/T 449 standard, lamination parameters:
- Temperature: 140-150℃
- Pressure: 12-15bar
- Time: 20-30 minutes
