Scope
This standard specifies the general repair principles for marine diesel engine turbochargers, parts repair requirements, tests and other technical requirements after repair of the supercharger. This standard applies to the repair of axial flow and radial flow turbochargers (hereinafter referred to as superchargers) on civil ships (see Figures 1 and 2).
