Scope
This standard specifies the names and codes of ferries on national trunk highways (hereinafter referred to as national highways). This standard applies to the identification, information processing and exchange of national highway ferry information by highway management and maintenance departments and related industries; it also applies to the identification of highway information carriers; provincial, county and township-level highways may refer to the provisions of this standard.
