Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Key technical requirements

Oil content detection adopts Soxhlet extraction method (GB/T14488.1), and moldy kernels need to be dissected to observe the moldy condition of cotyledons. Impurity inspection includes organic/inorganic categories, among which the proportion of organic impurities such as peel and seed shell must be ≤4%.


Standard evolution analysis

Compared with the previous version, the 2019 version adds three innovations: 1) clarifying the double low standard (low moisture ≤13%, low mold ≤2%); 2) introducing the requirements of the national food safety standard GB19641; 3) standardizing the anti-pollution clauses for transportation vehicles.


Implementation suggestions

  1. It is recommended to use near infrared analyzer to quickly screen the oil content during the procurement process
  2. Storage humidity should be controlled at RH≤65% to prevent mildew
  3. Transport vehicles should be equipped with rainproof awnings and isolation pads
