Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, storage, transportation and other requirements for DHA algal oil as a new food raw material. This standard applies to a species produced by biological fermentation, separation, purification and other processes using algal species such as Schizochytrium sp., Ulkenia amoeboida or Crypthecodinium cohnii.
