Scope
This standard specifies the specifications and basic requirements for restraint packaging for air transport of rigid heavy cargo. This standard applies to rigid heavy goods transported by air (hereinafter referred to as rigid heavy goods) and the restricted packaging of rigid heavy goods randomly loaded by the carrier for its own use. Non-heavy rigid goods can be packaged with limited motion according to this standard.
