1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for marking facility and equipment in aviation fuel supply system of civil airports for aviation fuel identification.

This standard is applicable to the arrangement of marking of facility and equipment in aviation fuel supply system of civil airports for aviation fuel identification. The arrangement of marking for other civil aviation fuel supply facilities and equipment may refer to this part.

2 General

2.1 The marking of aviation fuel facilities and equipment is to distinguish aviation gasoline from jet fuel by setting identification colors on facilities and equipment in aviation fuel supply system, and to distinguish fuels of different specifications and grades by symbols, ribbons and labels.

2.2 All oil storage tanks, oil pipelines, hydrant wells at apron, fuel trucks, oil pumps and valves in the aviation fuel supply system of the airport shall be provided with marking.

2.3 The marking for aviation fuel facilities and equipment shall be clear and eye-catching, and can be identified under various environmental conditions, such as night and rainy days.

2.4 The oil supply enterprises shall specify the specific methods and requirements for identifying the marking for aviation fuel equipment in their corporate identity system in accordance with this standard.

3 Marking

3.1 The marking for aviation fuel facilities and equipment in the aviation fuel supply system of airports includes identification colors, ribbons and labels. See Table 1 for the marking for aviation fuel facilities and equipment. In practice, one or more kinds of markings may be selected based on the specific conditions of aviation fuel facilities and equipment.
