Scope

This standard stipulates the equipment base of firefighting equipment at all levels of fire stations at civil air transport airports (including the civilian part of military-civilian joint airports). This standard applies to the provision of fire protection equipment at all levels of fire stations at civil air transport airports (including newly built, renovated and expanded airports). This standard does not apply to general aviation airports, but training airports may refer to this standard based on the airport's fire level and actual conditions.
