This standard inherits the 3GPP LTE technical framework and puts forward special requirements for the harsh aviation environment. Its technical evolution path can be traced back to the upgrade requirements of the traditional VHF data link.

- Flight test verification: Complete the switching success rate ≥ 99.7% test at FL300
Continuing airworthiness management
Chapter 7 of the standard innovatively introduces the fault prediction and health management (PHM) requirements:
- Maintenance intervals must be dynamically adjusted based on MTBUR (mean unplanned replacement interval) data
- LRU-level fault code mapping tables must be provided
- Software maintenance must comply with DO-178C tool qualification requirements

For the accessibility requirements of standard 5.4.2, it is recommended to adopt:
1. The layout of the equipment compartment follows the 30cm reach principle2. The quick release device must meet the requirement of 10 seconds to complete disassembly3. The maintenance port configuration complies with the ARINC404A standard
