Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for electrical characteris ics and system function testing of pre-operation equipment for safety-level power systems in nuclear power plants. This standard applies to the following safety-level power systems of nuclear power plants (excluding their loads): a) Safety-level medium-voltage AC power system; b) Safety-level low-voltage AC power system; c) Safety-level DC power system; d) Safety-important DC and AC uninterruptible power supply systems for instrumentation and control. This standard does not apply to periodic tests and equipment qualification tests during the operation of nuclear power plants.
