Scope

This standard specifies the factors related to radiation protection and source safety that must be considered in the selection of nuclear power plant sites, as well as the characteris ic parameters of nuclear power plants and sites that should be determined and analyzed during site radiation safety assessment. This standard is applicable to the site selection of new land-based fixed nuclear power plants with various water-cooled reactor types.
