Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and product-related information of offshore doubly-fed wind turbine converters (hereinafter referred to as "converters"). This standard applies to voltage source converters installed in offshore wind farms connected to the rotor windings of doubly-fed wind turbines.
