Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for canned luncheon meat. This standard is applicable to products made from pork as raw material, which have been pickled, chopped, seasoned, vacuum mixed, filled, sealed and sterilized. It is not applicable to products made with various types of vegetables and animal offal.
