Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of neutralized tannins for tanning. This standard applies to neutralized tannins for tanning produced by condensation and neutralization of aromatic compounds such as phenol sulfonic acid and naphthalene sulfonic acid.
