Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, test rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fuel gauges for automobiles and motorcycles. This standard applies to fuel gauges that indicate the fuel level in the fuel tanks of automobiles and motorcycles. The tables for other motor vehicles can also be implemented as a reference.
