Core data structure analysis

XML file composition

The root element is <MeteorologicalStationHistoryData>, which contains 13 first-level elements:

  1. Header (basic information such as station archive number, district station number, etc.)
  2. Station name evolution (maximum length extended to 100 characters)
  3. Observation elements (new automatic inversion mark)

Application example: Station migration record

When the station location changes, you need to fill in the typeGeoLocation element:
New longitude and latitude (DDMMSS format) + Distance and direction from the original site + Total environmental assessment score

  • File name specification: LIIiiixYYYY1YYYY2.xml, where IIiii is the district station number
  • Required fields: station file number (5 digits), observation field altitude (0.1m accuracy)
  • Missing measurement processing: uniformly use the "999999" identifier
